Services & Features
Whiskers in the Wildflowers Animal Rescue has been dedicated to making a difference in the lives of pets since we began. In order to achieve this, we will offer many services including the following:
Rescue & Rehabilitation
We will offer rescue, medical service, rehabilitation, and finding the perfect home for each pet through home checks and interviews
Behavioral
Analysis
Pets will be evaluated by a veterinarian and dog trainer for dogs for any behaviors or medical issues and work on any issues that may need to be corrected
Adoption
Finding our pets the optimal forever home just right for them
Educational Community Outreach
Educational materials to those who adopt a pet with us as well as teaching the community about the importance of spay/neuter programs and microchipping
Indoor
Dog Park
The first and only public indoor dog park in the DFW area, critical for pet owners in both cold and hot weather, bringing more foot traffic and funds to our facility. It could be rented out for dog-related events and dog training sessions
Cat Cafe
A cat cafe to help highlight cats for adoption and encourage interaction with friendly felines
Pet Memorial
Garden
A peaceful garden inviting the public to celebrate their late beloved pets by displaying their pet’s name on a special stone in our wildflower garden, giving them a chance to visit the garden in the future and honor their pets
Healthier & Local
Pet Alternatives
Our foyer will include a space for local vendors to promote their natural pet care products for a fee donated back to the rescue
